Why this exists

Every quit calculator we found was either too simple (just "multiply expenses by 6"), buried in a lead-gen funnel, or simply wrong about the numbers. Nobody accounted for COBRA health insurance ($812/month average), self-employment tax on freelance income, or the difference between liquid savings and total net worth.

This calculator does. It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is stored. No email required. No ads on the calculator page.

Data sources

All numbers come from public, verifiable sources: Bureau of Labor Statistics, Kaiser Family Foundation, Federal Reserve, and IRS publications. Each blog article cites its source inline.
